Oh shit, he called my bluff. I finally found a riding partner that is more insane than myself.
We did it, NP and I just sent in our registration for the Devil Mountain Double Century.
Dude is already talking about beating last years winning time. Well...maybe, but I just want to build some resistance. If we beat it, great, if we just have a great LOOOOOOONNNNGGGG day in the saddle, that's cool too.

NP and I signed up instead of the Podunk Stage Race in middle of freaking nowhere.
Ah, I'm going for Podunk... anything with a TT is good for me. I think we're going to pull a car camper and sleep in some parking lot somewheres.
There is a decent Podunk RV park not far off the freeway.

We stayed there last year with the RV trailers. It's not plush, but they have hook ups and bathrooms with nice hot showers.

When I told NP about Everest Challenge (I have done it twice, finished second on the second try) he got all giddy like a kid getting a new bike at Xmas.

Whoa Chico, or we might just bluff each other into something silly like that! Maybe '07? Gonna start with cotemplation of Diamond Valley, 'specially if we get the call up from our Elites to do some work for them. Now that's sick, my dream is to domistique for the 1/2/3 squad of our geezer team.
I agree Dr. X - I'm already in a build-up phase for Diamond Valley.....just in case.
