Book of things that "are not"
This Blog is dedicated to all the things that "are not". We will attempt to list all things (known and unknown) that "are not". There are many things that "are not" so this could take quite some time. Please feel free to submit anything that you feel "is not" and we will attempt to evaluate whether it truly "is not" or...um not so not.

i've never tried one
but it seems to me if you have a singlespeed bike that that means that 90% of the time you're in the wrong gear...
Single speed division= 1pm.
Now that is a civilized time of day for a bike race.
The gears are all in your legs.
It's an incredible feeling, the drive train is perfectly smooth. No offset chainline or deraileur pulleys to soak up power. Everything you put in goes right to the wheel.
I find that if I feel spun out I need to accelerate to smooth out my pedaling. It's fun to see how fast you can really go when the only thing you can do is pedal faster.
I ran the standard 2 to 1 ratio with 32 on the front and 16 on the back. It did not seem hard enough since I was seated for most of the climbs, so I am putting a 15 on it. That will also bring up the top end.
If I race cross this year it will be on the SS MTB with a 14 on the back.
I still don't have a cross bike and the On One just doesn't have the geometry.
